Recently I jumped at a chance to review three children's books that are published by The Secret Mountain, an amazing publishing group whose titles have won many awards.
Each of the books published by The Secret Mountain are beautifully illustrated with bold colors and each book comes with an CD filled with music that goes along with the story.
The three books I reviewed were A Duck in New York City, Down at the Sea Hotel, and Dream Songs Night Songs From Belgium to Brazil. The girls loved all three, but our favorite was Dream Songs Night Songs and the accompanying CD. It was a great way for us to unwind and reconnect after a busy day!
In a time where families are busier than ever, what better way to reconnect with your children then setting up a reading ritual, say right before bedtime? I would highly recommend The Secret Mountain titles for your reading ritual.
